1300years Ago Princess Wencheng of Tang Dynasty depart from Chang’an to Tibet. She would marry with Tsongzanganbo, the great Tibet King. Itinerary
Day1: 6 Feb Shanghai-Chengdu
Take flight to Chengdu, airport pickup and
Over night in 3* hotel. (D)
Day2: 7 Feb Chengdu
Morning visit Dujiangyan ancient irrigation system of China which from Qing Dynast. Afternoon visit Chinese family in the suburb area（PiXian） of Chengdu to experience the typical Chinese New Year . Write the spring festival scrolls, hand make dumplings. Have steamboat with Chinese family. Burn the skyrockets. Back in Chengdu during the night.

Day3: 8 Feb Chengdu-Lhasa.
Visit the panda base after the breakfast, It is an important research institute of panda in Chengdu. Afternoon flight to Lhasa, transfer to Lhasa city. The guide will meet you at Konggar Airport, and transfer you to Lhasa city with about 1 hours’ driving (60km). On the way, you’ll get greeted by Nie Tang Budda – a Budda image engraved in the mountain face. After arrive in Lhasa, rest and acclimatize.

Day4: 9 Feb Lhasa.
Experience the amazing ceremony of Tibetan New Year of Prayer Flag ceremony, horse racing and push-and-pulling game. Visit Barkhor- Lhasa's most interesting pilgrimage circuit. This area of the Old Town is both the spiritual heart of Lhasa and the main commercial district for Tibetans. Overnight in Lhasa (B,L,D)
Day5: 10 Feb Lhasa
Visit Lhasa’s cardinal landmark – Potala Palace, a structure of massive portions. Its towering image already appearing on various occasions, but your first sight of the Potala will still be an awe-inspiring moment. It takes at least a good 2-hour to visit those rooms, halls and chapels. Some 2km to the east of the Potala is the most revered religious structure in Tibet – Jokhang Temple. Bustling with worshippers and redolent with mystery, the Jokhang is an unrivalled experience. Overnight in Lhasa (B,L,D)
Day6: 11 Feb Lhasa.
About 8km west of central Lhasa is the Drepung, once world’s largest monastery with about 10,000 monks. This day’s sightseeing begins with these white monastic buildings piled up on the hillside. Walking up to the hill is a pleasant thing, an easy break from the solemn ambience inside the halls and chapels. At the plat roof of hillside, you can have very good views of the whole Lhasa city and the distant mountains.
Drepung is one of Lhasa’s two great Gelugpa monasteries, the other is Sera. Around 5km north of central Lhasa, Sera may not be as grandiose as Drepung, but is more serene surrounded by many small temples. The “Buddhism Scriptures Debating” in Sera is very famous.
Enjoy Gordro Dancing during the evening with farewell dinner

Day7: 12 Feb Lhasa-Shanghai
Take the train back from Lhasa to Shanghai.
On the train We will take the Qinghai-Tibet train back to Shangahi. The route: Lhasa –Damxung– Nagqu –Amdo - Tuotuo River –Gelmu- Xi’ning-Lanzhou-Xi’An-Zhengzhou-Bengbu-Nanjing-WuXi-Shanghai. The meals on the train will be covered by yourself. After about 48 hrs traveling, we will arrive in Shanghai.
Day8:14 Feb Arrive Shanghai.
